Main Focus of Development:
- Enhanced International Services: PMT served MSC Group's first international shipment from Kuala Tanjung to Singapore, strengthening its position as a strategic logistics gateway.
- Strategic Collaboration: Signing of MoU with Penang Port Sdn Bhd in September 2025 to strengthen the container transhipment network in the Malacca Strait region.
- Human Resources Development & Digitalization: Through Container Terminal Operator (CTO) training, PMT improves human resources capabilities to adapt to digital technology to increase competitiveness.
- Container Flow Growth: Until November 2025, PT PMT's container flow experienced growth, supported by increased export-import activities at Kuala Tanjung.
- Safety and Operational Standards: PMT implements quality, environmental, and K3 management standards (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018) to create operational excellence .
As part of the Pelindo Group, PMT plays a vital role in logistics efficiency in North Sumatra, including serving the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone and the industrial areas around Kuala Tanjung.
